Blue Point School
In 1926, a thoroughly modern school was built at a new location at Blue Point. The building contained an attractive main schoolroom, two good-sized, airy coatrooms, and separate, sanitary toilets for boys and girls. It was heated by a modern, hot air furnace located in the cellar. It had electric lights, running water, and a drinking fountain. It was equipped with modern, movable desks.
For school and community use, it included a stage, which was used as a library during school sessions. The building was dedicated on January 4, 1926.
